What a disappointing week two close games and the rest were floggings. Big wins are important especially as you get closer to the business end of the season were a home final can rest on an extra goal. At the end of round 2 six teams have a percentage over 130%.

Geelong were awesome against the bombers and gave them a lesson to remember
Brisbane beat Collingwood by 2 points
Great close game and while maybe not played in the best conditions, Brisbane would be very happy with the win. With beating Collingwood (tipped to be a top four) it would do their season the world of good especially the minimal impact of Johnathon Brown.
Malthouse blaming the umpiring over their lost is shifting the blame as it was Collingwood who fumbled and played and not the umpires.
Bulldogs beat Melbourne by 95 points
Whats going on down at Melbourne? They have a shocking percentage of 36.8% and would already be thinking of next year. Players like Robertson, Neitz, Yze and White just do not do enough work for their pay, so play the kids and give these fat earning players a warning to play descent or retire in the VFL.
Bulldogs are looking good with two good wins so far. Scott Welsh has made an impact and has helped the Bulldogs not become an one man forward line.
Adelaide beat West Coast by 76 points
Adelaide were determined to beat West Coast after some bad loses in finals in the last few years and did they beat them or what? West Coast do not have the best record in Adelaide but loosing by 76 points is no excuse. Apart from Cox, Kerr and Priddis West Coast were well beaten and their forward line is still under performing, must be time to play Kennedy over Lynch.
Adelaide however were amazing. Neil Craig has changed the way they play and its so much more interesting to watch and follow. Instead of putting their better players down back, put them forward and let them kick goals.
Hawthorn beat Fremantle by 15 points
Hawks looked comfortable yet only won by 15 points which flatters Fremantle. Tarrent and Pavlich are grossly over rated and just do not break games apart like other key forwards (Brown and Buddy). Pavlich kicked 3 goals but only one after the first quarter.
Hawks have this tendency to blow games apart and then go missing. They lead by 30 goals at half time yet were out scored in the last half. Against better sides they cannot afford to do that.

Chris Judd still struggling after major surgery and Carlton still look average.
St Kilda beat Carlton by 40 points
Carlton were tipped to be the biggest movers of the year with Judd kicking the ball down to Fev but so far they have failed to win a game. Quite simply they have no forward line and have a leaky backline. Waite simply must play forward.
St Kilda on the other hand have been the form side of the year with 6 wins including the NAB cup. Gehrig came back and kicked 4 along other players like Riewoldt and Kozi. They along with Geelong are the teams to win.
Sydney beat Port Adelaide by 68 points
You know when Williams is worried as he comments something silly and the team that was 2nd last year is now 2nd last at the moment. Was last year a flash in the pan?
Sydney actually played football and kicked a winning score. Scoring goals wins games not saving them. Paul Roos has winged about people targeting his game style but if they play like this, no one would.
Geelong beat Essendon by 99 points
Essendon have come down to earth rather quickly. McPhee was suppose to be the target for Lucas who has been injured but he looked useless and he is a very soft player. He needs to shape up if he wants to hold his position.
Geelong, what is there to say about them? They still look amazing and is ready to take on the rest of the competition for back to back.
Kangaroos beat Richmond by 41 points
Kangaroos were filthy to loose against Essendon and did enough to beat Richmond who were disappointing after a great round 1 win.
The AFL Ladder at the end of each round is now be updated and placed on the left. Also do not forget the Kick2Kick competition with entries due today.
