Collingwood vs Essendon

Alwyn Davey win be sorely missed by the Dons today in their clash with Collingwood
Essendon have suffered another injury with Alwyn Davey suspected to be suffering from a A.C.L knee injury. This continues Essendon’s unlucky run of injuries. Meanwhile Malthouse will be firing up his troops for this ANZAC game day match, which in recent years has been very competitive. Mick Malthouse will be feeding off this big game feel and is still seething from last week’s loss.
Colllingwood by 2 goals.
Fremantle vs Geelong
Even though Fremantle will be playing with a lot of spirit, their skills will let them down against an imposing team, in Geelong.
Geelong win.
Carlton vs Adelaide
Carlton are looking good after stringing together some solid wins and their midfield is starting to fire. But Adelaide’s defensive pressure should see them victorious.
Adelaide win.
Western Bulldogs vs West Coast Eagles
West Coast do have a good recent record at the Telstra Dome and against the Bulldogs….but my haven’t things changed. These are two entirely different teams this season. The Bullys are sitting pretty in 3rd while the Coasters are languishing at 15th spot on the ladder. I think the Bulldogs polish and pace could see this game blow out to a big margin. Congratulations to Dean Cox, Daniel Kerr for 150 games as players and to Woosha for 150 games as coach.
Western Bulldogs win.
Port Adelaide vs St. Kilda
Port had a return to form of sorts, with their win against West Coast last week at Subiaco. St Kilda were also impressive last week, but for me I am still not convinced they can beat Port Adelaide in Adelaide.
Port Adelaide win.
Brisbane vs Melbourne
Brisbane came close to beating the 2nd spot Hawks last week at the GABBA and should easily account for cellar dwellers Melbourne.
Brisbane win.
North Melbourne vs Sydney
Sydney’s defensive (boring, ugly) style of football will be well suited to the Telstra Dome’s dimensions and should see them shut down any scoring opportunities that the Kanga’s seek from their mid field.
Sydney win.
Hawthorn vs Richmond
Richmond are looking much improved and really should have won last week instead of drawn against the Bulldogs. The Hawks this season are a class act and I can’t see the Tiger’s determination spoiling a Hawthorn party.
Hawthorn win.

Collingwood - Davey and Llyod out of form will hurt the Bombers chances.
Geelong - Fremantle will not beat them
Carlton - Adelaide do not have the forward line to match them
West Coast - $4.20 for a win and I think they can turn their form around.
Port Adelaide - Back to form and will only get better
Brisbane - Two things are for sure, Geelong will win and Melbourne will loose.
Sydney - Kangaroos struggle against top teams.
Hawthorn - Richmond are looking better but still lack polish. Franklin v Richo will be interesting.
