I think Geelong are likely to bounce back when their players get fit. Not every team can cover several of their best players out through injury. I doubt even St Kilda could do it 2-3 weeks in a row, maybe an once off but not as long as Geelong have had injury worries this year.

The Dogs on the other hand are a different story imo. Yes they played very average football but not since the game against Hawthorn where they smashed them have they played four quarters of football. Agree they have to go back to the basics and only time will tell if they can.

only time will tell but i am pretty confident that both will bounce back.after all that is the measure of a good side, yes? sometimes a kick up the backside from a lesser team can be all that is needed to provide the spark. Dogs played pedestrian football against freo in the second half and carried it into the wce game and eventually paid dearly for it. the good thing now, is that the Dogs will HAVE to play at their very best to make the top4 and that means going back to the basics that have made them a top3 side for the past 40 odd home and away games. Our destiny really is in our own hands now and it begins on saturday night in what i think will be a very, very physical game.

Ok maybe not everyone predicted a Saints loss, but most did especially with the Hawks pushing for a top 8 spot.

I agree that Swans wont make the finals and I cannot see the top 8 changing, the positions may change but that will be it!

Not everyone predicted a Saints loss.
Dogs loss the upset of the year.
Everyone may feel that the Bombers deserved to not get the 4 points, but Brown's 5 behinds helped us even more.
Swans have a bad draw & won't make it.
