Kick2Kick Dream Team Wars

Kurt Tippett played his best game with 7 goals & a high score of 130

Kurt Tippett played his best game with 7 goals & a high score of 130 which helped several Kick2Kick Dream Teamers.

Ariana’s Royal Knights defeated Mandurah Mob by 268 points

Big scores from Gary Ablett, Brendan Fevola & Dean Cox were great while other good scores came from Heath Shaw, Jimmy Bartel, Chris Judd & Ryan O’Keefe. These seven carried most of the other side that was without Sam Gilbert.

Deano’s Manbucca Axemen defeated Craig’s Great Izzacs by 215 points

Nick Riewoldt, Scott Lucas, Bartel, Josh Fraser, Shaun Higgins & Patrick Ryder stood out. Deano would have to be disappointed with the pathetic decision to suspension Ryder for “a bump that the opposing player doesn’t see coming”. Yes, folks, that’s the rules, would you believe??

“Great Izzacs” best were Fevola, Kurt Tippett, Darren Jolly, Jason Gram, Brad Johnson & Josh Hill. We lost Hartlett pre game Saturday night, who was our emergency after Max Rooke got dropped mysteriously.

And how many times have you done this?? We sack the captain & “Fev” kicks eight & is our best. Not really having any luck on our side.

Johnny’s Diamond12 defeated Jermayn’s Germinators by 79 points

For Jermayn’s “Germinators”, Ablett, Shaw & Cox were the only players to make triple figures & Campbell Brown was a late withdrawal.

Best for “diamond12” were Cox, Tippett & Michael Firrito. It’s interesting that both suffered the loss of Cyril Rioli.

Michael’s Dorkers lost to Arthurs Mongrels by 70 points

Michael’s “Dorkers” went down to “Arthurs Mongrels” by 70 points with Fevola, Cox & Tarkyn Lockyer his best players. Lost Jack Ziebell pre game.

Next Weekend’s Kick2Kick Dream Team Fixtures

Next fortnight is the split round & we have three Derby’s. Match of the round is the “Germinators” .vs. “Nambucca Axemen”. Both are now looking to keep in touch with the top four & I think Deano’s boys have been softened up by my boys.

Ariana’s “Royal Knights” take on the “Dorkers” & Michael still has a good percentage to make a run at the eight. Can somebody finally knock her off??

Meanwhile, “diamond12” take on “Great Izzacs” after we got our best score for the season. Should be an interesting one as every week we’ve seen an upset in the derby’s. Can this one be it??

Meet craigeyles

Born in Warragul, West Gippsland, Victoria. I’m married with 2 beautiful young girls & a cat (Hirdy). One is at school & the other has autism. I support Essendon but I’m not the one-eyed feral type. Played footy for 1 year in under 15s. Was roped in, actually, as my brother was in the team & they were short of players. Terrible team, mind you. Coach had his sons in the midlfield & they were dreadful. What I do?? Not a lot, unfortunately. Cutting a long story short, illness for 24 years this year (ended footy career) & Johnny’s “workplace” laws forced its hand even more. Love to work, but unfortunately part time is the go these days. Now, spend my time doing community radio sports show on Saturdays & wife suggested I build excel programs on sports leagues & other calculations. Enjoy my “twittering” that I recently discovered.

  1. Jermayn Says:

Me and Johnny where keeping in contact with each other the last weekend and he ended up having the last laugh :(

Annoyed at my team this year with several big names not performing like Goddard, paid a fortune for him last week and he gets a sub 50? and the guy who I thought was gone in Higgins get a 2nd 100+ score. Boy I look like an idiot now

Think I will keep Corey for this round as he gets another week off and was close for round 11. Roili will probably need to be traded as I simply cannot cover him as my forward line is very very weak. May have to eat humble pie and pick up Higgins again.

What would you choose? I have 8 trades left and 150k odd left
