2010 NAB Round 3 Tips

Western Bulldogs v Port Adelaide

The Doggies are in red hot form and Barry Hall seems to fill the missing link by providing a target up forward. Will

Daniel Giansiracusa racked up 22 disposals and 7 tackles in last weeks victory

Minson has been named for his first game of the season, poor bloke copped a bad batch of soy milk proving the stuff is as deadly as it tastes.

For the Power Jay Nash has been given the boot and will have to earn his place in the squad for future games. Bulldog fans will be hoping Daniel Giansiracusa and Matthew Boyd back up after last weeks excellent performance while Port fans Justin Westhoff and Danyle Pearce can build on there current form.

The Bulldogs bandwagon is starting to gather momentum with fans hopeful that 2008 2009 2010 will be the year of the dog and if they win this week it will move up a gear, the media will climb on board and Fev’s antics will be forgotten.

As for the Power they are rebuilding and a win would mean a chance to put some more silverware in the trophy cabinet, that’s about it. This game should be a lot closer than people would expect but the home ground advantage at Etihad should see the Bulldogs home by a goal or two.

Western Bulldogs by 9 points

St Kilda v Fremantle

Fremantle have reached the semi finals by default after being gifted Melbourne in round one and North Melbourne in round two. They will need to pull there finger out in order to defeat the Saints  who are so confident of a win that skipper Nick Riewoldt and champion backman Brendon Goddard have been given a rest so they are fit and firing for the Grand Final next week. Coming in to replace the duo are youngsters Tom Lynch and Will Johnson who will relish the opportunity before they are shafted next week.

The Dockers will again be looking to Hayden Ballantyne to provide some inspiration, provided he’s not busy destroying throwing a ring into the fires of Mordor. For the Saints the usual suspects in Nick Dal Santo, Leigh Montagna and Lenny Hayes will all play an instrumental role in dismantling Fremantle’s game plan. Expect the Saints to romp in, anything less than 6 goals should be considered a loss by their lofty standards.

Meet Depps

Keen sports fan and punter as the two seem to go hand in hand. Mad Bomber and Goooner and Supercoach nut though I seem to have mixed results, much like my punting.
