Considering I was 2 down, this was closer than I expected. Only Gibbs didn’t get in on Justin’s midfield killing spree of my team & even though Franklin will be back for his once a fortnight appearance.

The Garry Lyon article on Ariana’s team has sparked them up to a 200+ point win in what was suppose to be a close match. Only Stanton’s late withdrawal prevented the margin from blowing to 300+.

Darren’s forward line failed to fire with Goodes & Gumbleton in the very wet & “Pods” & Higgins hurt. Hille also made his ruck stocks lighter.

The 2nd upset of the week keeping up the average & it had to be Deano. Hille went down may have been the difference, but the defence was not good.

  • Yeah, right. Can’t even score over 2,000 yet even with a new plan. Need some wins fast being 4 games from the top 8.
• Germinators ($1.68) .vs. Grey Wet Sydney ($2.20)
  • The boss is sitting pretty a game clear on top, but could have some selection issues. It took him a while to get the Riewoldt dilemma sorted, so this could be Justin’s chance.
• Half Back Flanker ($1.87) .vs. iTeam ($1.94)
  • The bookies believe the iTeam has been favoured by the draw & have given Darren every chance of keeping in touch with the top 8.
• Bad Boys ($3.14) .vs. Princess’ Cats ($1.39)
  • Unfortunately, Steve has as much chance as Kevin Rudd showing us the real Kevin Rude.
• BullDogz ($2.23) .vs. Bomber cyborgs ($1.66)
  • Sean wants a top 4 spot & has surprised us with some team selections. Mike needs the win & the percentage to have a crack at the top 8.
• Benditos ($1.74) .vs. Nambucca Axemen ($2.11)
  • They call the Axemen the “Port Adelaide of the Kick2Kick League”. They’re harder to work out than the Victorian weather at the moment. This week, the pressure of favouritism is off.
