Well, two sure things have happened this week. Dane Swan sews up the DT Medal & I’m in all probability out of the running for the local tipping contest, now 6 behind with 3 weeks to go. What isn’t a certainty is goal technology. Why do “experts” say it will slow the game, but want caps on interchange??

Kick2Kick League Week 1 Finals Review
(4) Bomber Cyborgs 2,118 def (1) Greminators 2,092
After just one loss in season 2010, the boss has been added to that famous list that includes Port Adelaide, Greg Norman & Jana Novotna. The Cyborgs backline was on fire & the emergencies for Sandilands paid off. O’Keefe, Brown & Riewoldt finally showed up.
Higgins was out for both, but it was Jermayn’s replacement that didn’t fire. Waters replacement in the backline was good, but I know he wouldn’t be happy with the midfield. “Pods” has quickly become a liability for all.
(8) Grey Wet Sydney 1,873 def (5) iTeam 1,778
Hard to read the trend of this game, but it will go down in the records as another upset. Garlett out of left field scores 105 for GWS while Hodge & Gibbs had another shocker, the latter maybe struggling to be in the Blues team next week.
Has the iTeam gambled on Gumbleton staying in with just a 95 pt loss?? Maybe the trades ran out, but it’s too late now for season 2010.
(6) Nambucca Axemen 1,918 def (7) Joden Warriors 1,862
The Axemen get away with a 56 pt win despite playing 2 short. Higgins could be done for the year, but with Harvey & Giansiracusa firing on all cylinders, they scored enough to make up for 1 player. McIntosh was an ironic bonus considering Sandilands was out of that game.
(3) Benditos 1,871 def (2) Princess’ Cats 1,863
An 8 pt loss, a week off at stake & the Princess didn’t dump Sandilands or Skipper. The loss of Davey was another factor in such a narrow loss, but not as big as relying on Warnock to save your team. The midfield did enough in a tough round of football.
(9) Half Back Flanker 2,000 def (12) The Juddanauts 1,612
It’s difficult to read too much into such a massive points difference with the forward line firing for the Flankers, but at least the Juddanauts live to fight another week.
(13) BullDogz 1,209 def (16) Crimson Sting 817
Talk about Mike getting away with absolute murder. The trades have definitely run out & he’s in massive dire straits for next week with up to 11 players out.
(14) Cash For Clunkers 1,754 def (15) Bad Boys 1,471
Sunday was the massive difference as I’ve discovered my maligned Saints forwards have been dubbed “Mr August”. Dumping Sandilands & Tippett was suppose to be a huge key, but it didn’t work out this week.
Kick2Kick League Week 2 Finals Preview
(1) Germinators ($1.40) .vs. (8) Grey Wet Sydney ($2.97)
Surely, the boss can’t go out in straight sets?? Could it be the loss the boss had to have?? This could give the GWS some added confidence to win the flag from 8th.
(2) Princess’ Cats ($1.87) .vs. (6) Nambucca Axemen ($1.95)
This one promises to be a beauty. Can Deano become the Malcolm Blight of the league & continue to become the 6th placed contender?? Or can the Princess avoid being Dim Sims??
(12) The Juddanaut ($1.42) .vs. (13) BullDogz ($2.88)
The odds could be flattering the Dogz with so many outs. We couldn’t pump this one up even with an appearance from Mark Latham.
(10) Mopar ($1.33) .vs. (14) Cash For Clunkers ($3.34)
Right, I’m not that far off the pace from the inconsistent Mopars & the question has to be which one of our Jekyll’s will turn up this weekend?? 1 trade left, $240,000 in the bank & considering a trading bombshell.
Good luck to all this weekend with some very exciting results ahead.

Not Happy Jan!
I had secret big guns who had played well all year fall in the same week in:
- Fyfe
- Rocklift
- O’Keefe
- Cooney
- Gibbs
- Waters
I still have three trades left and almost $170k in the bank. I am thinking I might have to re trade Riewoldt for my forward line for jPod and hope Waters, Sandilands etc come back in.
