This round of AFL football will hopefully answer some questions about some of the teams. Like are the Bulldogs a realistic chance in September? Can Fremantle win? Are Brisbane a top 8 team? At the end of the round 10 some of these questions will be answered.

Adelaide v Essendon
Yes Essendon have injuries but they have still been disappointing and is it really in their best intrests to win? I doubt it!
Adelaide however will be fuming about their loss to the Eagles, they had a chance to cement their position in the top 4 with Bulldogs and Geelong loosing. Expect Burton, McLeod and co to fire after being beaten last week.
Adelaide easily
Collingwood v West Coast
Can the Eagles win two in a row? Will last weeks win for Collingwood ensure they seriously challenge the premiership? Collingwood are indeed a good team but I doubt they are premiership material. They lack a star in the midfield and T Cloke, Rocca and Medhurst are too inconsistent for my liking.
Worsfold is coaching this year wisely by playing the kids and giving them enough rest to ensure they play 10+ years by resting Masten and Davis this week. Most will tip Collingwood easily but not me, for me its an upset weekend.
Eagles in an upset

Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs
Will the Hawks loose? Are the Bulldogs the real deal? I think we will find out in this game. Hawks are well known for their cluster tactics but the Bulldogs are one team who can out run the tactic like Port did and nearly won.
A few tippers are tipping the Bulldogs with the AFL Footy Blog also expecting them to win.
Bulldogs in a close exciting game
Brisbane v Kangaroos
Kangaroos are almost the experts of the close games. However I think these wins gives them a false hope. Kangaroos are not premiership material with their stars the wrong side of 30 and no one rising up. Brisbane however should be top 8 material and if they want to play finals they need to beat teams like Kangaroos.
Brisbane win
Geelong v Carlton
Can Carlton do what Collingwood did last week?
You got to be joking ![]()
It will be a one sided contest with Geelong flogging them. Geelong will only get better with Ottens back as West and Blake still have a way to go to be number one ruckmen.
Geelong easy
Sydney v Richmond
Richmond are a chance hear. Sydney are up and down and Richmond have been playing some good football, I expect this to be an interesting game. Richmond should have won at least two more games but they show promise.

However I seeing the game is in Sydney, they should win which will mean that the poor Tiger supporters will have another week of disapointment.
Sydney
St Kilda v Melbourne
For me Melbourne can win hear. St Kilda need to realise that the list they have is rubbish and it is going to take some serious hard decisions from Lyon to move on some of their over paid over rated stars.
Melbourne to get off the bottom of the ladder
Fremantle v Port Adelaide
Can Fremantle win? Can they stay off the corn flakes and stop choking? Port is one team that can win at Subi but I think Freo have had enough of loosing and will win. No team since the 40s have been in front at 3/4 time and then still lost, three times in a row.
Fremantle will finally win

Talk of tanking this early is ridiculous: and the competition is too even for even a team like Essendon to be ready to write the whole year off at this stage.
Lot of people are keen on the Doggies to topple the Hawks, and I burnt myself last week tipping the Dockers. They are no chance this week. Tigers to lose in another freaking close game, and the Kangas to upset the Lions.

@Wounded Tiger – Why not start tanking? There is no way Essendon (along with other teams) could make the 8 and loosing a few games could mean you pick up some exciting players. This year is the year to rebuild as you wont get the best picks for the next 2-3 years due to the new teams.
Have you read Is 2008 the year of tanking? It explains it more…
I think the Roos and Lions game alongside the Hawks and Dogs will be the best two games this round.

Adelaide – will be seeking revenge after horrid game last week
Collingwood – are very good and will stop the eagles
Bulldogs – will be fired up after last weeks defeat and will outrun Hawks
Lions – too good at the gabba
Cats – carlton are ok, but no match for Cats who will be on fire this week
Sydney – will cause more pain for tigers fans who need another win
Melbourne – played well last week, and will upset St Kilda big time
Port Adelaide – Too classy for mediocre Dockers

It was a pretty easy week, can’t believe more didn’t get 8! I would have had I not picked my Hawks with my heart, I knew they were going to lose. Easy to say now but said it before the fact here: http://afl.mollyzine.com/2008/05/30/mmm-video-edition-29052008-teams-for-round-10-and-footy-tips/

I tipped upsets so I think I only got about 4 or 5
In regards to tipping the Bulldogs, only one person hear (Alias) did not tip them and a few other people I know, also tipped them but you were right in your views.
