I also am a little surprised about the attendance at Ports Home games Nick! I do understand that when a team is down, the supporters stay away but its like the attendance has halfed from 40 odd to a low average 20 odd thousand.

IN SEASON 2009 PORT, CARLTON, ESSENDON and RICHMOND will finish top four. but CARLTON WILL WIN THE FLAG. EVEN THOUGH I GO FOR PORT, carlton are too strong. wooden spooners will be sydney and 15th will be adelaide.
ALL U PORT SUPPORTERS OUT THERE WHO DONT GO TO THE GAMES,, u arent true supporters. We are averaging 22 000attendance a game that is embarrasingg for a good team.
IVE BEEN TO EVRY GAME ITS NOT THAT MUCH,, Get BEHIND UR TEAM CAUSE IN 2009 they are going to be great.. CROWS SUCK

i think that with the loss of some key midfielders, ifind it hard to see where the eagles drive and goals will come from considering the midfield is the highest scoring bunch in the eagles…but like john said its hard to fit teams into about 2nd to 8th maybe even 10th becuz the teams are all so similar and theres not much in it…

by the way anyone want to guess who germ goes for??? hahaha its definately not obvious is it…

Yes Geelong are a long way ahead but with injuries it changes the whole situation. Geelong have lost Ottens and Wokenski which will give the rest some hope. Hrmm I would of had Eagles higher up..but I think there isn’t much that separates 2nd to 8th in the competition. Just Daylight between Geelong and the rest really.

Discard the Eagles at your own risk!! Yes no Cousins and Judd but did the Eagles have them last year? Butler could well be the surprise of the year after not playing last year, he is rated very highly by many (including Port and Crows). West Coast still lack a key small forward but I see Ebert and Masten filling in that roll this year.

I do not think Richmond will win the Wooden Spoon, they may surprise a few teams..

Carlton besides Fev lack key forwards, so yes the ball will pumped in the 50m arc better but apart from Fev who else is their to kick it to? Kade Simpson is not a CHF – too small. Trading Kennedy may hurt them.

Dockers are the hardest team to tip and predict, no one knows what they will do this year. They have as much chance to suck as they do succeed.
