The BIG V verses the Dream Team could well be the closer or precursor to future State of Origin games or the official end of them. Most players and clubs have been all for it unless someone does an injury.

BIG V team
The BIG V will win the Hall of Fame match, why and how? Hear are the reasons why as we dissect the line ups and positions of the proud Victorian state squad. Saturday will feature why the Dream Team will win the game and on Monday the detailed wrap up of the game, make sure you’re subscribed.
The BIG V lineup
B: Campbell Brown, Matthew Scarlett, Darren Milburn
HB: Heath Shaw, Trent Croad, Jarrad Waite
C: Brent Harvey, Sam Mitchell, Adam Goodes
HF: Ryan O’Keefe, Jonathan Brown, Robert Murphy
F: Steve Johnson, Brendan Fevola, Daniel Bradshaw

The BIG Vs midfield
Victoria have the last four brownlow medalists out of the past five years in Bartell, Judd and of course dual medalist Adam Goodes. Then add Harvey, Mitchell, O’Keefe, Kelley, Selwood, Power and Foley it will ensure that the BIG V will have plenty of run and ooze class and will out run the Dream Team who have stacked their midfield with an one legged Cox and taggers (Kirk and Cornes).
Last time ‘Chocco’ Williams raised his voice like he has this week, he got flogged by 120 odd points in the Grand Final. Obviously he was worried so its no surprise he has played Kirk and Cornes to try and limit the BIG Vs damage.
The BIG Vs backline
Much has been said about the Dream Teams forward line and how it will dominate the BIG Vs backline but a closer look and its obvious that Sheedy and Thompson have been smart. Croad is the one player who can match Buddy Love, fast, big and mobile. Buddy has already asked not for Croad to play on him.
If Croad fails, Scarlett will pick up the pieces and dominate him and if even if that fails you can always count on Campbell Brown to knock his shoulders out of place. Milburn (will play on Motlop) and Pendlebury can play tall if needed and also provide run with Shaw. Power could be good cover to limit one of the smaller forwards if necessary.
The BIG Vs forward line
The big unit in Jonthan Brown will be the key to the forward line. He trained and looked good and can either play up the ground or in the square as a bomb to the goal square if needed. Bradshaw and Fevola will be interesting to watch as they both are leading forwards.

Fev and Brown will provide a good mix for the BIG V
The small forwards in Johnson, Chapman, O’Keefe and Murphy will be amazing to watch and will ensure that all Brown, Bradshaw and Fevola need to do is provide a target, they will do the rest.
The Coaches
Kevin Sheedy while he is not coaching (whats going on there anyway?) he is still one of the smartest (and weirdest) football brains out there. I wonder just how much ‘Bomber’ Thompson will actually do in the coaches box?
A good side question: Is Kevin Sheedy going to pick the mantle from Ted Whitten snr?
The result of the Hall of Tribute Match is..
The BIG V of course…
The BIG V has picked a more even team with 13 players who can play in the midfield compared to the Dream teams 10.
Tomorrow why the Dream Team will win…
