This weekend we saw Port continue to surprise many & the Dogs lead by the reformed bustling Barry kick 6 goals along with Freo & Saints getting over in close games at the Dome.

We wrap up the second part of the first round of the NAB 2010 pre season competition. Which saw Kangaroos surprise many by beating Geelong & a non event between Fremantle & Melbourne.

Yay I do not know about you but I am glad the football is back, the cricket is boring this summer and personally it was great to see the Eagles (currently) undefeated for 2010.

In the last few years we have been lucky to be blessed by good close Grand Finals and this year we got another cracker of a game with Geelong ending up coming from behind to win with St Kilda only able to kick 3 behinds in the last quarter.

Just St Kilda and Geelong are left to play off in the Grand Final. Is it good to see the best two teams in the grand final or where the Doggies unlucky not to get there?

Two more teams have started their mad Monday celebrations, lets hope they leave their sex toys at home as we get the wrapup of the Bulldogs and Collingwood wining.

Most of us expected Carlton & the Dogs to win but we all seemed to forget that stat that 73% of the time since 2000 the team that finished higher usually wins.

The weekend saw the final 8 take shape with teams needing to win for form and for home finals, which saw a few anticipated matches that did not let us down.

We saw some results which will keep the last round interesting with Essendon & Port both loosing along with the Dogs beating Geelong. It means the race for 8th spot is still alive along with the spots 3 and 4 and the order of the bottom top 8 all to be decided in round 22.
