AFL 2011 Round 17 Discussion (14)
18/07/11 I am undecided if all the talk will be Essendon, Fremantle and St Kilda winning big matches helping their top 8 chances or the fact that the umpires sucked this weekend. It is just as well it was multi cultural round and not umpire appreciation round as they where shocking! They screwed up the advantage rule, gave free kicks and 50m penalty's that decided matches. Hope there are plenty of reserves as I think a few need to be dropped.

11/07/11 While Fremantle, Adelaide and Melbourne had a general bye so did I, so do not expect a full detailed discussion post this week. However I hope that you can fill in the gaps with your own stats, points of interest and anything else that caught your eye or that you feel you need to have a rant about in a weekend which saw Geelong and Carlton loose to open up the fight for top 8 and top 4 spots.
AFL 2011 Round 15 Discussion (13)
04/07/11 Was it just me or was this a hard week for tipping? We saw highly fancied teams getting rolled in Sydney, Kangaroos and of course Geelong who almost did a Houdini. Not only was it a hard tipping weekend, it was also a weekend full of sub standard games, I think weekend wont be one to remember.

27/06/11 We all know the saying that a week is a big time in football, well seeing West Coast defeat Carlton it goes to show that a year is even longer... The other big winners we look at are Melbourne who sneak into the finals, Hawks over their arch nemesis and Collingwood who breaks the Bye curse!
