Ok im no expert but I have had some luck this year in my second year playing Dreamteam. So lets see what I did and see if it can help anyone, including me for next year
I have not done everything right like I brought in Gysberts on one good match, Reimers who only lasted two rounds and buying Ablett at 530,000 when he has dropped in price since.

Nathan Fyfe was a surprise for many but after his round five debut he has averaged 68 and has been a handy forward subsitute
My Starting Team
Backline: Goddard, Hodge, Kennelly, Malceski, Hunt, Nason, Maguire, Hurn and Enright.
Midfield: Swan, Barlow, Gibbs, Boyd, Banner, Cooney, Martin and Armitage.
Ruck: Sandilands, Leuenberger, Warnock and McNamara.
Forward line: Riewoldt, Chapman, Franklin, Podsaidly, Rockliff, Hitchcock, Dangerfield, Wright and Ziebell
Lets face it I ran the risk of having injury prone players in my backline in Kennelly, Malceski, Hunt and Maguire and apart from Malceski they are all out at the moment but I made on average between $100,000 to $150,000 on each of the trades.
My Team at Round 14
Backline: Goddard, Hodge, Malceski, Nason, Strijk, Gilbert, Waters, Hargrave and Enright.
Midfield: Swan, Barlow, Gibbs, Boyd, Ablett, Cooney, Stevenson and Gysberts.
Ruck: Sandilands, Leuenberger, Warnock and McNamara.
Forward line: Chapman, Franklin, Podsaidly, Rockliff, Hitchcock, Higgins, O’Keefe, Didak and Fyfe.

My Secret Tips for Dreamteam 2010
This year we have had a few golden one in a lifetime rookies in Barlow, jPod and also Rockliff, lets be honest, they where all cheap and have made their way into my best 22 for most of the year. However what has helped me for 2010 has been lack of key injures (I did loose Reimers, Riewoldt and now Barlow) but I feel the secret is trading players at the right time.
Some examples are bringing in Fyfe, Waters and getting rid of strugglers like Ziebell, Hurn, Kennelly the week before he injured himself and got a 0 and Hargrave at bottom price.
What have you learned for Dreamteam 2010?
Tell me what you have learned this season and whether it has helped or hindered your chances for 2010?

That’s It!!!!!?????
Luck and Good Trades. c’mon Jerm I was expecting something a bit more substantial then that…perhaps you are worried about the axemen causing an upset in the finals???lol.
You certainly have more faith in the talls then i do. After being too top heavy last year i vowed off KPP’s for this season. Buddy and Jpod look to have been very successful for you. Might have to re-think my thinking…???

@Deano, To be honest that is all there is to it. There is enough information around the place to know what good youngsters to pick up before and during the season and then you need to pick a few left field gold picks but if they dont work, you get rid of them (for me Hurn) as soon as possible but some work (ie: Leuenberger has played all matches so far as number one ruckman).
The next trick is to get your team right at the start of the year. Last year I wasted about 8 trades on getting rid of dead wood, this year I only had 2-3 dead wood players.
Then the next trick is to trade at the right time, I traded Kennelly at the right time, at his highest dollar value and the week before getting a 0 being injured in the first few minutes against Fremantle.
Sorry if I have not given you that edge buts that all I did.
