Injuries, late omissions & players being rested really hurt us fantasy coaches who play SuperCoach and Dream Team. Last week in Round Seven, we had Mitchell Brown (WCE) & Shaun Higgins (BULL) as late omissions. While Brown was announced before the Friday night cut off, for many it was too late to change & substitute their side.
In looking at the teams Ins & Outs for this week, I think more coaches will be in a mad rush as they think and go through the pluses and negatives of trading certain players.
- Hodge (HAW) – 2-4 weeks
- Stokes (HAW)
- Rivers (MEL)
- Bennell (MEL) – rested
- Higgins (BULL)
- Ziebell (KAN)
- Malceski (SYD)
- Pyke (SYD) – rested
- Hunter (WCE)
- Kerr (WCE)
- Salopek (PORT)
- Rance (RIC)
- Fraser (COLL)
- Thomas (COLL)
- Cloke (COLL)
That is quite a list. As the year goes on I think more teams will juggling their bench and maybe the difference between getting a high score or not, could be based on how many of your players are injured.
My Dream Team Changes
For myself “Germinators”, Higgins, Thomas, Hodge & Ziebell are the outs that effect me and with only 13 trades left and needing to save some for the last few rounds. I have to accept that I will be playing with 21.
My substitute changes are:
- Hodge (HAW) benched for Cheaney (MELB) with C Brown (HAW) as my emergency.
- Ziebell (KAN) benched for Sidebottom (COLL) but with Ablett also sitting out, I have made Ziebell my emergency.
- I have kept Higgins (BULL) in my forward line as ‘technically’ he is an emergency for the Dogs side, which means Yarren (CARL) gets a spot as Thomas (COLL) sits on the bench.
So how do these Changes Effect you & What you Going to do?
let us know how these outs will effect your Dream Team or SuperCoach this week? Will you risk it and let them sit on your bench or will you trade?
