Wow the Blues looked very impressive last night...
and the Roos? Long year ahead I think. Laidley is a dud of a coach and they really need some stars who can take the game by the struff of the neck, Z-man and Wells need to be these players.

Carlton vs North Melbourne

Tough game, between what i feel is one of the most improved sides in the comp against one of the most consistent performers in the comp. Carlton i feel will have the advantage with the likes of Fev and Juddy being to strong for the slightly inexpierienced Roos. I do want to see the development of Andrew Swallow though. Carlton By 20+

Melbourne vs Hawks

The hawks are goin into this game with a huge list of rookies, however I have faith in there choice in youngsters such as young gun Riley Milne. Melbourne on the other hand have gone for a slightly more expierienced side yet still injected a lot of youth. I reckon you Ricky Petard will be the one to watch in this game. Hawks will win in a close one.

Geelong vs Adelaide

Two sides with a lot of pride and both dont take losing lightly no matter what game it is. Both sides have gone in to the game relatively strong, however adelaide have thrown in a couple of roughies. Patrick Dangerfield and Jahran Jacky will be the ones to watch in this game whilst for geelong i feel Joel Selwood will dominate as he pushes to be the best player in the comp. Geelong by 30+

Sydney vs Port

Sydney will have a shocking year this year, with little promise on the list. They do however always manage to surprise me. Brett Kirk and Adam Goodes will be the shine on the team but i dont hitnk this will be enough. Port Adelaide have gone in quite strong for this game. I am interested to see the likes on Marlon Motlop, brother of Daniel and Josh Carr wearing his old colours again. Port by 20+

Looking forward to Carltons forward line with Yarren, Betts, Fev and Cloke working together. Carlton easy as North are over rated....

Melbourne could not beat Hawthorn playing 30 people.

Adelaide looked over awed against the Aboriginal All Stars and they will again against the Geelong All Stars team.

Port will be looking to hit season 2009 with form after a terrible 2008. If they do not play finals, Williams will be out of a job.
