Yawn, what a boring weekend and imo the AFL really needs to sort out this horrible scenerio were football is hardly played in the middle of the AFL football season. Yes I am all for a split round as we all know that the players need a break but surely 4 games per weekend is better than 6 one and then 2 the other.

Barry Hall is back, taking swings at players who out play him. What a spoilt brat.

Geelong defeated Adelaide by 68 points

Boy did not Neil Craig pull the wool over our lives with his comments off being attacking and exciting? Geelong were quite simply Geelong, effective, awesome and kicked the pants out of their opponents. What or who can stop them? Bulldogs or Hawthorn? My money at the moment is the Bulldogs as the looming tribunal points carrying over the angry Hawks players is worrying.

Collingwood defeated Sydney by 29 points

The most exciting thing about this insipid game was the hay maker by Barry Hall and the reactions from the Swans were they have asked him to go on another holiday following his first after earlier on this year. Has anyone ever been suspended for attempting to hit someone? I think from memory the last I remember was Alastair Llynch in the 2004 Grand Final. I think its time for Sydney to delist him and accept that they have failed in their ‘Bloods code’.

The game however was very very boring and with Sydney only scoring 2 goals in 3/4s is really unacceptable, they played even worse than Melbourne and the Eagles put together. Collingwood however with Fraser and Rocca out played great, however how can they beat so comprohensivly teams like Geelong and Sydney and then loss to Carlton and Kangaroos?

Things to Ponder from round 14

  • Will Barry Hall ever play again?
  • Are Adelaide and Sydney pretenders of 2008?
  • Are Collingwood the real deal or pretenders?
  • Who will win the Nick Naitanui cup, Eagles or Melbourne?

I am away at the moment so sorry about the delay in posting the rounds wrapup.

First I think its about time Barry Hall has been dropped indefinitely, his selfishness has been around for ages. Watching him this year has been frustrating and I think its safe to say that with his outburst against Staker, Wakelin and the past Kangaroos player who got his jaw broken is not something out of the ordinary.

Collingwood, Adelaide and Sydney are pretenders and have been found out.
    Sydney are too slow
    Adelaide too boring and
Collingwood are coached by a has-been coach

btw I have seen Nick Naitanui play live and while its safe to say he will be a star I think he is a work in progress.
