If you look at the last few years I would have to say that Knees are up. Which could be due to the drought in Australia as the grounds are a lot harder than normal.

		<description>Another knee injury this time to promising key position player Mitch Brown for the Eagles, he injured his knee during the same game that Brad Dick did his.

Too many knee injuries already with Fremantle onballer Paul Hasleby, Adelaide ruckman Rhett Biglands, Sydney defender Nick Malceski and young teammate Kristen Thornton all needing reconstructions.

In other news Nick Malceski has had his reco using a new different technique called &quot;ligament augmentation and reconstruction system&quot; (LARS) and could be playing AFL again this year.

In other Kick2Kick and knee reconstruction news, we will be releasing a series of articles detailing what it is like to recover and return playing from a knee reconstruction.
