Last week saw me tip the two winners but get the margin wrong with Carlton having a blistering third quarter. However I feel the love this week (unlike Neil Craig) with Melbourne the lowest scoring side and West Coast with a margin 1-39 points.

Last week was a tough one with St Kilda ruining West Coast winning streak & the Kangaroos upsetting a lazy Dogs side. However this week I tip Hawthorn to win over 39 points against Melbourne & Carlton to win a tight match against their arch enemy Essendon.

I told all of you last week to keep the faith and I really hope you guys did because I finally nailed my tips last week. West Coast overcome the Cats by 8 points & the Bombers kicked 10 unanswered goals between the 3rd and 4th quarter to cruise to a 39 point win. Now we have round 17 upon us and as always I am confident I will pick some more winners.

I learnt never to tip Freo in Melbourne. The Dockers were absolutely pathetic last week against the Dees. However ball magnet Sam Mitchell gathered a lazy 38 disposals last week making him the leading disposal getter for the round and giving me a much needed win. I’m feeling pretty confident that my winning ways will continue.

There a few teams in must win situations at the half way mark of the season & a certain tipster is in a must win situation as well. I got the teams right last week but failed when it come down to the margins. A week is a long time in football and I’m confident I can turn things around.

Having some bad form tipping the winners but this week will be different as I put my money on the Kangaroos and Carlton to win between 1-39 points, read more on why my money is on them.

I was a little bit unlucky last round with Sydney over running Port Adelaide & Jobe Watson straining his hammy against the struggling lions, let’s hope my luck turns around this week. My money is on Travis Cloke to be the leading goal kicker & Port to defeat Fremantle.
