AFL Idea – Goal Kicking Competition

How about a competition similar to the NAB 3 point shoot out but instead having players kicking for goals at 40m out? It would be a better Grand Final entertainment than the 100m sprint.

2008 AFL Grand Final Wrap up

Hawthorn won by 20 odd points which for many was a surprise but with four years in planning their time was due. Hawks won the game but the Geelongs forward line kicked the game away with their poor goal kicking.

NAB Grand Final Wrap up

The big news of t his round was not St Kilda winning some much needed premiership glory but rather the successful return of Chris Judd to the Carlton colours. He looked good and fresh and now Carlton fans are talking premierships.
