@Deano, if you read my comment I said that the first half was convincing by the Eagles and their attitude was a lot more convincing than the Dogs all day.

yes for sure they were very good in the first half and so was their attitude. do you think the game may have been dramatically different if the dogs hadn't been so inaccurate? i just wonder if the eagles would have crumbled had the dogs been more accurate

maybe the dogs should be interested in Hansen and maybe offload Griffen to the West?

@Mike - maybe the win was not convincing but the first half was and their attitude was.

Agree that next year will give us a better view if they have improved or the last month was just a fluke. I'ld like to remind you guys of Hawthorn in the season 2006 where they won the last 4 games, finished a few games outside the 8 and two years later they won the GF.

If the Eagles can get top 20-30 picks or a good young pacey midfielder/ forward player for Staker & Seaby it will help a lot.

i hardly think they beat the bulldogs convincingly on the road.

however in saying that they did do alot better than most expected. i think next year will give us a better idea on how they are developing

trade week for the eagles will probably be quite interesting.

Some promising signs for the Eagles with some real talent in the midfield.
Can't wait to see how nit nat develops.
Definitely think winning games on the road is the Achilles heel for the WCE.
They did beat the Bulldogs quite convincingly though.
